A remote green lake below granite walls, reached by rough jeep tracks in the Naryn highlands.
Kel Suu is one of the most remote lakes in the country, in the highlands of Naryn near the Chinese border. Getting there takes a long drive, then a rough 4x4 track and a walk.
Because it is in a border zone, a permit is needed, and we help arrange that. The reward is deep emerald water and steep rock walls with very few other visitors.
